SD Exia

Ordered this cute little guy from Hobby Link Japan. Its a pretty nice kit, Bandai used a newer type of plastic. As far as SD models are, this one was fairly simple. and there isn’t much articulation.

One major downside to this SD was the amount of painting that is needed to be added for Exia' true colours.

~Paint: 1/144 HG Stargazer

Its been a while since my last post. Sorry everyone who comes to check out my blog. Ill try to stay more active over the holiday season for all of you.

This is my second stargazer kit. I decided to paint it and give it to a friend.

It took me about a day and a half to hand paint. And i waited an extra day before i took the chance of touching it for assembling. Type of paint i used was Tamiya Purple and Flat Black. The kit dried with a glossy coat to it and i put the stargazer black stickers on not the bling bling, but i think it looks pretty good. I think my friend will like it.

~Paint: 1/144 Aile Strike

The GP01 got quite a bit of feed back, but not so much for the aile strike.
after realizing this i decided to take the extra step to tone it up a bit. painting it and even modding a little.

now i still consider myself a noob still to gunpla. but im still learning a lot, and enjoying the hobby as i go. so i appreciate your guys feedback. thanks for checking my work out guys.

anyways here goes.

So this guy is now fully hand painted. In my earlier post only about 15% of this kit was hand painted.

As you can tell the paint, after applied still has a blotchy affect. For all you hand painters out there, this is because your paint needs thinner. i have yet to experience the stuff.

As i reached painting the last few pieces i began to run out on white paint, and was forced to add water to my paint ratio. This is not a recommended tip, and should only be used for lack of a better.
This was after two coats of paint on the hand and three coats on the rifle. At first the paint only applied itself minimally. after a second coat it covered the hand. By the time it had dried, its texture was very rough and clumpy.

9. 1/100 GundamGP01

Wow has it been a long time.
I’ve been busy with working, and other things in my life so I haven’t had much time to update. So I apologise for all you people who've been coming to my blog.

What a great way to enter back into my hobby with an update of two kits. (Check the September posts -------->)
The HG 1/144 Aile Strike Gundam & the MG 1/100 Gundam GP01.
I took some pictures of them while they were near completed WIP's so if you happen to notice parts unpainted, or still needing to be touched up, that’s the reason.

Hope you enjoy.

7. SD Strike Noir

Kit number two, of the three that i picked up last weekend, and i decided i wanted to paint this kit. So every piece has been painted, including the wings, but excluding one of the two rifle's. Only panel lines were drawn on one rifle, and its twin was modified a little and custom painted.

Not really anything else to do with this little guy, I have only a few more panel lines to finish scribing, on the two hand guns as you may notice below. Also not really any problems at all with it. Just finding time to paint was the largest delay, of all. Just need to find time between work, so I can crack down on GunPla building.
