7. SD Strike Noir

Kit number two, of the three that i picked up last weekend, and i decided i wanted to paint this kit. So every piece has been painted, including the wings, but excluding one of the two rifle's. Only panel lines were drawn on one rifle, and its twin was modified a little and custom painted.

Not really anything else to do with this little guy, I have only a few more panel lines to finish scribing, on the two hand guns as you may notice below. Also not really any problems at all with it. Just finding time to paint was the largest delay, of all. Just need to find time between work, so I can crack down on GunPla building.

6. 1/144 Strike Noir

First kit of 3 that i purchased on the weekend.

Snap fit this kit with no real problems, took about 3 hours.
One thing that i did not like about the kit was on the wing swords. Mainly the beams, when they are placed on the swords you can not fit them back into the wings, so they must be removed.

(sorry for the blur guys)

As far as those swords i was talking about though, i believe i will be keeping this kit with the stargazer.

~Mid Month Buy

Mid July purchase.

In all took a chunk of $80 out of my wallet. Not to bad i should say. Picked my new toys up in Toronto at Anime Extreme.

Not too bad eh?
The kits are 1) SD Strike Noir(FIRST SD KIT)
2)1/144 HG AILE Strike
3)1/144 HG Strike Noir (TO GO WITH MY STARGAZER).

Will start building soon, so expect lots of updates before the end of July.

I also picked up two action bases, a Tamya thin tip model paint brush, XF-1 Flat Black Paint for painting both my Noir kits, black Gundam marker, and I purchased a copy of the first novel in the Gundam Seed series.

5. 1/100 XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (Photo Tutorial)

LAST UPDATE: July 21st
COMPLETE

New month. First kit. Happy times.

I picked up a Wing Gundam kit 1/100 scale, price tag was a little steep for my liking, but you guys know i love W series Gundams, so i had to buy it.

Progress so far is as such:
*painted minimal pieces(basically sprayed a coat of grey primer over the grey pieces on the sprew, and hand painted the places that are supposed to have stickers on them), and i have completed panel lines on one leg and both arms.

P.S. still waiting on that darn Strike+I.W.S.P.

Poped in Endless Waltz for motivation, and brought the fun.

Waiting for leg joints and "grey piece's" on sprew to dry.

Like so..

Thats all for now. Will edit this post when more gets done.

UPDATE: July 9th.
Chest assembly completed. I've also completed both wings. As well as the head.

And the wings.Fully panel lined.

Produced the head

Progress..

More to come..

UPDATE: July 10th.
Progress: Panel lines on most parts. Beginning the lower assembily.

Lower End.

UPDATE: July 13th
So I have added a few little mods to the build.

Now after painting i decided to do a daring little mod.
if anyone has watched the Gundam WING series (im talking right fresh from the start of the series with this kit im working on, as the first main Gundam) you will remember where Wing Gundams beam saber is. (and its pretty epic)

I decided with an old school Gundam like that i had to replicate that detail. check this.
my second mod.

The other mod i decided on was to drill a small hole in the underside of the lower torso, as so the WING can be placed on a stand (the only stand i have is a 1/144 scale base that came with the stargazer)(the 1/144 bases have the peg sticking out the top, so that’s why I did this mod)

Completeion: 85%

UPDATE: July 14th

And the painted thrusters'.
