~Paint: 1/144 Aile Strike
The GP01 got quite a bit of feed back, but not so much for the aile strike.
after realizing this i decided to take the extra step to tone it up a bit. painting it and even modding a little.
now i still consider myself a noob still to gunpla. but im still learning a lot, and enjoying the hobby as i go. so i appreciate your guys feedback. thanks for checking my work out guys.
anyways here goes.
So this guy is now fully hand painted. In my earlier post only about 15% of this kit was hand painted.
As you can tell the paint, after applied still has a blotchy affect. For all you hand painters out there, this is because your paint needs thinner. i have yet to experience the stuff.
As i reached painting the last few pieces i began to run out on white paint, and was forced to add water to my paint ratio. This is not a recommended tip, and should only be used for lack of a better.
This was after two coats of paint on the hand and three coats on the rifle. At first the paint only applied itself minimally. after a second coat it covered the hand. By the time it had dried, its texture was very rough and clumpy.

I painted without thinner once and stop painting after that. The probs is I dunno what ratio will be for the two medium to be mix with. Then I only used Industrial spray cans.
For your Strike... You didn't remove the sprue? It is visible on his right hand. Try sanding. Then color. :)
hahahahahaha what tha fu&k is it, a toys buhahahahahahaha
