Alright, so for lack of a better MG model (and me being my impatient self) I went to the only store in my city that still sells Gundams (Sir Games-A-Lot, a pretty much any kind of anime, and toy figurine store.) The only MG Kit they have had in there for about the last two weeks was the AMX-004 Qubeley. So I thought to my self "what the hell?" and bought the kit for $60 and also picked up a copy of Endless Waltz as well.
Also to add I got the store owner to order me in a new MG kit, what will it be? Well I decided on the 1/100 scale Strike + I.W.S.P kit. But if I don’t feel like putting that kit together i might just grab something else new that he ordered in. 1/100 scale of course. I have to admit im really getting into the MG kits.
Anyways here’s the Box art:
And the completed Qubeley:

3. 1/100 scale RX-79(G) Complete!
Alright I admit I was really excited to paint my MG kit. I couldn’t wait to get spray cans, and I knew that I had a couple jars of mini Taimya acrylic paint downstairs. I went threw the kit and I found One useable colour. A flat red. So i busted out the MG Model kit that i keep glairing at, and thinking about. I pulled the two packages of sprews that had red peaces out of the kit, grabbed a fine tip paintbrush, and cracked open the bottle of flat red paint and began my mission.
The paintjob consisted of the parts for the Gundams feet all parts for which were on one sprew and parts for the Gundams head. So i hand brushed the parts and took some pictures.
The pictures arnt THAT good. My room isnt white, so my pictures have a yellow tintish to them.
Anyway here is the pre paint preparation.
Here is the feet spew. I like painting with this acrylic paint, once shaken it almost has a water type base to the texture. So the paint goes on nicely to the shiney Gundams plastic.
This sprew contains a few peaces for the Gundams head. It was a little tricky getting into the corners of these peaces but after a few strokes I managed to fully cover the peaces thoroughly.
So in the end i was pretty satisfied with how the red parts turned out. I didn’t think they looked too bad. I’m curious how the rest of the peaces will turn out once i get a few cans of paint, and I am ready to paint the rest of the peaces for this Gundam.
~COMPLETE!~
Painting finished, lining completed, laminate coat completed, assembly finished. I even put some of the decals that came with the kit on.. I must admit it looks pretty bad freaking ass. I actually watched the 08th MS Team series and as far as action goes, its pretty intense. Good story line that keeps you very much interested. But anyways..
The kit is completed. :D My first 1/100 scale MG model. So I have now completed 3 models to date. I’m hopping to go out and purchase at least one more MG kit before the end of the month, and perhaps one or two more 1/144 scale kits because there fun to assemble as well.
As for the RX-79.. I will post up some pictures tomorrow morning.

2. 1/144 scale Double-Oh Tieren Ground Type
On Sunday i drove down to the city to go to a store in china town called AnimeXtreme. They have a fairly large selection of Gundam models, and paints along with large selections of other anime. While in the store I grabbed One HG model from the new OO series, along with a MG model from the G series. The HG model is the MSJ-06II-A Tieren Ground Type, 1/144 scale.
I started putting the kit together last night at around 10:00PM after i got home from work. I completed the torso, head, and both arms before 2:00AM and then called it a night.
When I woke up today I decided id finish the kit. It took about 3 hours to put both feet, legs and lower torso together and finish the kit. I put the stickers on this model as i did with the stargazer.
Now as for the MG model..
It is the Gundam RX-79(G)
I think id like to paint this kit before i start building it. And if anyone has any tips to offer it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

1. 1/144scale Gundam Seed Stargazer
So this afternoon i went to a local hobby store and bought a model Gundam for the first time. I had wanted one since i was growing up. I loved Gundams ever since WING, and wanted to buy a model. At the time i felt they were too complex for me though. But I finally worked myself up enough to buy one, and did so.
Anyways i finished putting the (HG, 1/144)Seed Stargazer model together about 6 hours after i had started. It came with two sets of decals for the model, one set a gold finnish, the other was a set of black
finnish decals.
This was what the finished model turned out to look like.
That’s the finished model its self.
The kit also came with a stand and a ring set for the Gundam stand. That’s what those strange hook looking things sticking out of its back are for. I’m going to put that together tomorrow and I’ll add the pictures on here after I am finished that, to show how it turned out.
